1. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing products from Dancing Daffodils, you (“the Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
These terms apply to all sales unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Product Description & Nature of Handmade Goods
- All products are handmade in small batches by Dancing Daffodils
- Due to their handmade nature, each item is unique. Variations in colour, shape, texture, weight, and scent are to be expected and are not considered defects. These variations are inherent characteristics of artisan products and do not affect their quality or performance.
- Product images on our website or in marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only and may not precisely represent the item you receive.
3. Ingredients, Allergies & Safety
- A full list of ingredients is provided for each product. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to review these lists prior to purchase and use to check for potential allergens or sensitivities.
- We strongly recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin before using any soap or topical product for the first time.
- Dancing Daffodils shall not be held liable for any allergic reaction, sensitivity, or adverse effect resulting from the use of our products.
4. Product Use & Safety Warnings
- Soaps & Topical Products: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Candles & Wax Melts:
- Never leave a burning candle or wax warmer unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
- Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to prevent sooting and uneven burning.
- Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains.
- Follow all specific instructions provided with the product.
- The Customer assumes all risk and liability for the misuse of any product contrary to these instructions and warnings.
5. Orders, Pricing & Payment
- All orders are subject to product availability.
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors that may occur inadvertently.
- Prices are listed in South African Rands and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Full payment is required at the time of purchase to secure your order.
6. Delivery & Shipping
- Delivery timescales are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Dancing Daffodils is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or unforeseen circumstances.
- It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided is accurate. We are not responsible for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address.
- Risk of loss and title for products pass to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier.
7. Returns, Refunds & Damages
- Due to the perishable and personal nature of handmade soap and candles, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.
- We take great care in packaging your items. If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence. We will, at our discretion, replace the damaged item or issue a refund.
- If an incorrect item is sent in error, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the correct product to be sent upon receipt of the returned incorrect item.
8. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dancing Daffodils liability shall be limited to the value of the products purchased.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising from the use or inability to use our products.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa
